Sacramento Bright Spots, Part 1
I love receiving recommendation requests from friends, family & clients about life in Sacramento.
Today I’m sharing a few bright spots in our area to help make your spring & summer days as full & enjoyable as possible.
If I wanted to grab coffee with a friend:
Chocolate Fish (my order, an iced black coffee and the avocado toast with the works)
Tupelo (my order - Bowl of Soul)
If I wanted a family daytrip:
Rail Explorers in Amador - a super fast drive, idyllic scenery, and an active, safe adventure for the whole family!
If I wanted to study martial arts:
Zen Martial Arts - adult classes offered!
If I needed to purchase a gift:
Mahina & Soul - a gorgeous, moody flower shop that also stocks locally made goodies
If I wanted to eat something scrumptious:
Masullo - the meatball is seriously incredible.
If I wanted to take a cooking or crafting class:
The Kitchen Table (now with a new East Sac location on the corner of H & Alhambra!)
If I wanted to visit a park and maybe walk barefoot in the grass for a bit:
If I wanted to get a quick lunch on the grid:
Southside Super - grab & go & oh-so-yummy
If I wanted to plan the perfect Girls’ Night Out:
Shangri-La in Fair Oaks - dress to impress…the place is instagram-worthy!
What other types of recommendations do you find yourself seeking out? Maybe I’ll give my ideas in a future edition of my Sacramento Bright Spots.
